I have typed and erased a hundred times because words don’t feel adequate to express my gratitude for what our midwives did for us. 

In a place where home birth is not only rare, but is very frowned upon, these two brave ladies dedicate themselves to helping women believe in the process and power of birth, believe in their body and connect with their baby. 

I’m forever grateful to these two ladies for the way they encouraged us and helped bring Lukas into the world safely and peacefully. They helped make my dream of having a home birth here in Basque Country a reality.
